The Accidents and Incidents PowerApp will record and manage Hazard Identification submissions and Incident Reporting submissions for employees.

The information is stored in the lists of a new SharePoint site collection, the PowerApp to collects the entries, while a number of Power Automate workflows are used to track approvals and generate notifications.

Accidents

The Accidents Items PowerApp have the following approval steps.

  • Waiting for Submission
  • Waiting for Health and Safety
  • Approved
  • Rejected

 

The following Power Automate Workflows are included
• An Approval workflow to track approvals for each Hazard submission. Reviewers can Approve or Reject a request via Microsoft’s Approval system.
• A workflow to send reminder emails when Hazards are left open for longer than 1 month.

Incidents
The Incident Items within the PowerApp have the following approval steps. 

  • Waiting for Submission
  • Waiting for Health and Safety
  • Waiting for Investigation
  • Investigation completed
  • Rejected

 

The following Power Automate Workflows will be created
• An Approval workflow to track approvals for each Incident submission. Reviewers can Approve or Reject a request via Microsoft’s Approval system.
• A workflow to send reminder emails when Incidents are left open for longer than 1 month.
